This is really good. However, I feel the squares are a little too big: I believe 22px is better. (And the Champion piece needs a little refinement.) Keep the good work. -Sibahi_talk 06:11, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Propose changing template to auto generate a FEN string based off the image. I have developed this code and it's currently being used at User:Matthew Yeager/Chess Render FEN. Please provide feedback either here or on my talk page.MatthewYeager 07:02, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
