[edit] Isolation

Can someone with more expertise than I edit the clause that says "due to its isolation by water for thousands of kilometers in all directions"? Omelek is one islet in a circle of islets that once surrounded an actual island. Several of these islets are inhabited. The entire atoll, in turn, is part of a section of the Pacific with a great many other inhabited islands and atolls. Thanks. Bob51

The current map has an inset that already does that, if you really want a separate locator map the one I made for Kwajalein could be re-used here. Kmusser 14:18, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
