[edit] Battle of Network Reality Stars

The current wording is in future or present tense (that Omarosa will be on the show in August 2005). The show has been over for almost a month. I changed the wording once and someone reverted, along with a brief summary of what she talked about on the reunion. I'm going to change it again, and if someone wants to revert, please explain why in the talk section. --JamesB3 04:14, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Unclear

This is definately not clear. Did she or did she not pose nude?

After being fired from the show, her celebrity profile grew. She has been on The Oprah Winfrey Show, made a brief appearance on NBC soap Passions, and a renowned pornographic magazine offered her money to pose nude. At the time of the offer, Omarosa rejected it, declaring that some of her parts were reserved for her then-husband. Due to her marital status being separated (as of October 15, 2005), Omarosa may have different excuses and/or views with regards to nude modeling.

Anyone got a link to the nudies?
(What? I'll take a gander)

I don't think she posed nude whatsoever. — Mark Kim (Reply/Start Talk) 00:39, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Biased, to the point of banality

Was this bio written by Ereka Vetrini? It definately reads like it. Im not a fan, im a black woman and she makes us all look bad, but this is too much. The only thing not included in the article is that she's the devils spawn.

I'm changing this statement "Ironically, since leaving The Apprentice, Omarosa's celebrity profile has grown." because it isn't irony at all. Someone gains fame from being on TV...that is the whole damn point. You expect someone to gain notoriety after being on a popular TV show aired on a major network. [edit] Needs to be redone

I went over the article and this article needs to be re-done to the point where it's more neutral and more organized. I'm not gonna put a fix tag on it, but I feel that this article needs to be rebuffed a bit more to a more positive and a more encyclopedia-quality point. — Mark Kim (Reply/Start Talk) 04:07, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Article has been notified to be redone, as it is more of why everyone hates her than an actual bio. — Ohyeahmormons 09:27, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
    • I'd say leave the cleanup tag on, but proceed with putting the NPOV tag on it, it's somewhat unbalanced, but for the least I'd say it's more of a cleanup issue at this point. — Mark Kim (Reply/Start Talk) 00:38, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

I agree! This article makes her look a little too negative! It's very biased...it is knocking her more than it is informing readers. It makes Omarosa look very Hateful, and whether you dislike her or not is one's own personal preference, but Wikipedia shouldn't be encouraging people to dislike the woman! ...and as far as the comment that was made about her making black women look bad, I'm a black woman and I disagree with that! I don't look at Omarosa's behavior as being a black or white issue! The woman is acting, and that's it! LOL! I think people should stop taking her so seriously and let it go! I love Omarosa...she's intelligent and articulate; and being a 20 year old black woman who is in college, I have much admiration for her! Therefore, I disagree, I don't feel she makes black women look bad! There are so many other's who do a much better job at making black women look bad than Omarosa ever could! I'm not saying you guys have to love her, but give her a break and stop all of the bashing!!! **Alicia**

  • This article is now a Condition 5, repeat, I'm gonna move Omarosa Manigault to Condition 5. — Mark Kim (Reply/Start Talk) 03:37, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
  • I extensively cleaned up the article. You can thank me later. Deltabeignet 04:29, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Needs to be cleaned again, quite clearly. I don't see how saying she has the worst record of any Apprentice candidate or that she is not a celebrity holds any relevance to the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tam001 (talkcontribs) 23:15, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] ATTENTION: Omarosa's Nigerian Heritage

I really commend Ihunnaya for spotting this out, but citations are still lacking (whether electronic or print). If anyone can actually cite any of Omarosa's Nigerian Roots, then you should feel free to cite anything out. Anything. Period. — Mark Kim (Reply/Start Talk) 18:28, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quotes

I moved the quotes here in order to clean up the article page. They need moved to WikiQuote if someone wants to help out with that. Thanks, Daysleeper47 15:07, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] On Surreal Life (see external links for source)

  • "Let me be the first to tell you that Jose has a wonderful ass."
  • "The woman is just, ugh, I feel so bad for her children."
  • "My, my, what steroids can do to a body! That man is *hot*!"
  • "Crack whore!"
  • "You let a crackhead play with a knife over here."

[edit] On Apprentice I (see external links for source)

  • Ereka Vetrini: That is like calling the kettle black.
  • Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth: See, there you go with your racist terms. What was that you said about black people?
  • "Well, Heidi speaks her mind, but what's on her mind isn't always that appealing."
  • Donald Trump: How did Heidi do?
  • Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth: Heidi was fantastic. And I will tell you that I haven't always been a fan of Heidi. I haven't always thought that she was professional, nor did she have much class or finesse...
  • Donald Trump: [sarcastically] That was very nice. This is one of the worst compliments I've ever heard.
  • Carolyn Kepcher: Isaac's last name?
  • Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth: Mizrahi.
  • Carolyn Kepcher: Yes. I see you learned that a little too late.
  • "...I'm a big, big connoisseur of waters."
  • "I'm gonna sell the frog smoking opium!"
  • "I don't really take anything that Heidi says to heart at all. I mean, look at the source."
  • Donald Trump: You got hit in the head with a little piece of plaster that - by the way, all my life I've been hit on the head with plaster - Omarosa, I mean, you know, give me a break.
  • Kwame Jackson: [Both imitating Omarosa] "My head. I wanna eat."
  • Troy McClain: "Dude, it's my head, and if I don't get some catered service pretty quick, I'm callin' the President."
  • Donald Trump: Omarosa has a huge chip on her shoulder. She felt that she was superior to the other people. She's very smart, but I think her attitude was terrible.
  • Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth: Essentially, um, we introduced her to a piece called "The Hollowed Pussy".
  • Meghan Boody (artist): I actually photographed this at a taxidermist studio in Paris. It's not quite clear if this is an undead kitty or not.
  • "Just for the strength of the team, I'd like to see Heidi go. Plus, I'm tired of hearing her say that she'd rather sell Tampax than artwork. She's pretty much supporting my theory that she is the least classiest person in this game."
  • "Kwame could take me, but if he does, I'm gonna have to eat my "brutha" up."
  • Donald Trump: [Omarosa barges into the Boardroom] Omarosa, I didn't call for you yet!
  • Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth: [on Heidi] ... She likes to drop the "f-bomb" every five minutes.
  • Donald Trump: Omarosa, go out and sell paintings or whatever the hell you're doing. I don't like excuses.

[edit] Watch the negativity

Just now I had to bash all the negativity that I saw throughout the last couple of edits. I'm not going to name any names neither I would name any edits, but keep in mind that you should avoid putting the negativity in the article because excessive negativity is likely going to place a bad taste onto the page, so think twice before placing a lot of negativity in this article. — Vesther (U * T/R * CTD) 02:05, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Piers Morgan's statements

His statements in my opinion should be removed, as it makes the article seem more negative than it already is. Otherwise include his opinions in The Apprentice section (with the other feuds that she had in the show). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tam001 (talkcontribs) 14:03, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Lie detector

Eventually, Vetrini moved to put the controversy to rest by appearing on the Howard Stern show, where she passed several lie detector tests. When Omarosa was a guest on the television show Crossfire, host Chris Matthews asked her repeatedly if she would agree to take a lie detector test. She declined.

Why is this in here? Polygraphs haven't been shown to be reliable in any way. At the best, it should be worded different. 68.149.13.166 (talk) 08:32, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

But the instance of Omarosa declining to take the lie-detector test did occur! Douche. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.240.82.17 (talk) 22:15, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
