Omar Sahnoun (Arabic: عمر سحنون) (born August 18, 1955 in Guerrouma, Algeria- died May 21, 1980 in Bordeaux, France) was a French professional football (soccer) defender and midfielder.
A talented player who revealed himself at FC Nantes under Jean Vincent's coaching, son of a harki and proud to be it, he played for the France national football team before FIFA World Cup 1978 but was not called because of a cardiac alert at the end of 1977. He then died of a heart attack during a training with Girondins de Bordeaux in 1980.He left a son, Nicolas Sahnoun, who currently plays for Dijon FCO.
