Omar Evans (born September 1, 1976 in Silver Spring, Maryland) is a Canadian Football League football player and plays for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Blue Bombers traded future considerations to the Calgary Stampeders to acquire him in 2005. Omar is in his 6th season as a CFL cornerback and in his second year with the Blue and Gold. He wears #4 and is 6'0" tall.

Evans was among the CFL's top defensive players in 2005. He had 5 inerceptions which led the Blue Bombers and returned two of those picks for touchdowns. Evans has played for the Calgary Stampeders, Montreal Alouettes, and Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL before joining the Bombers.

Evans attended Howard University and was a letterman in football. As a senior, he was won All-MEAC first team honors and was selected as Howard's Defensive Player of the Year, and finished his senior season with 25 tackles, and a team-leading five interceptions.
