Omar Brissett

Omar Brissett (born September 15, 1984 in Port Antonio, Jamaica) is a footballer, who currently plays for St. George's SC in the Jamaican National Premier League.
He is a good striker with the ability to operate down both flanks, partly because of his speed and experience as a runner. His main strength is running at players and creating chances for himself and his team.

Omar entered Bostons' divisions at age 16. After a disappointing 2001 season, Omar improved in 2002, and scored a lot of goals in the league. Omar decided to take his career further by going abroad to play for Old Stationers Football Club. In his first season he scored an amazing 16 goals for his new club and he was later named player of the season and the top scorer.
In 2007 he clinched promotion to Jamaica's top level with St George's. He also played for Jamaican lower league teams Berlin FC and Ujama.

A former Jamaica youth midfield player, Brissett played for Jamaica in the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games in El Salvador[1]. These matches were not officially recognized as full internationals by FIFA.
