Omar Briceño

Gabriel Omar Briceño Leyva (born January 30, 1978 in Culiacán, Sinaloa) is a Mexican football player who, as of 2006 was playing for UANL Tigres. In Tigres, he plays defender position with the number 6.

He debuted with CF Atlas in 1997, and until 2002, when he moved to Tigres, where he has played 8 seasons. He has been twice a runner-up (once with Atlas and once with Tigres), and has been considered for the Mexican National Team.

He was fired from Tigres after a photo scandal in which he was shown flashing his behind, along with team mate Juan Pablo García, who was also fired.
