Omala (Greek: Ομαλά) is a community in Kefalonia, Greece. It is located in the south-central part of the island and is the only landlocked community/municipality on the island. It is also the smallest in both land area (46.699 km²) and population (1,053 inhabitants at the 2001 census). The seat of the community and only significant town is Valsamata (pop. 942). Its next largest settlements are Epanochóri (60), and Micháta (27).
