Consider renaming to Olympic Stadium (Munich).

[edit] Useless

Excuse me, but why is it necessary to mention that this was the venue for England's 5-1 win over Germany?-A Bulgarian from Bulgaria.

I agree with your comment (and I'm English!)Rangemean 12:32, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Focus of the Article

The Munich Olympic Stadium Article seems to me at present to be overly focussed on the events of the 1972 Olympics, which are already covered in that section. From an architectural and socio-cultural aspect, the stadium's impact on Munich as whole has hardly been addressed. I also agree with the above; the humiliation of the German National team does not belong here. If it belongs anywhere, then perhaps under the histories of the respective teams involved. In general, the significance and depth represented by the Munich Olympic Stadium his not been done justice.Roger2dc 22:39, 14 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] English concerns

Why is this article mentioning English football concerns? There are also other countries in the world using that language and this is a stadium article anyway, not a history of Norwich City FC.
