Olympus Twelve

The Olympus Twelve (オリンポス十二神 Orinposu Jūnishin) are a group of 12 Mega level Shaman Digimon[1] modeled after the Twelve Olympians with their Roman equivalents' names. This group is primarily a Digimon Card Game group, although it has appeared in the recent Digimon game Digimon World Data Squad. Only one of its members (Merukimon) has appeared in the Digimon anime series.[2]

Only six members of this group have been identified thus far. Their names are all derived from the Roman names of the Twelve Olympians.

Apollomon is the Mega form of Coronamon, a Digimon who is scheduled to make his first appearance in the new Digimon game Digimon World: Dawn. Apollomon is named after Apollo, the god of the sun, medicine, light, truth, and music in Greek and Roman mythology. Attacks

Dianamon is the Mega form of Lunamon, a Digimon who is scheduled to make her first appearance in the new Digimon game Digimon World: Dusk. Dianamon is named after Diana, the Roman goddess of the moon and the hunt. Like the two sides of the moon, Dianamon also has two different characters. As an Olympus Twelve, she takes charge of water and ice, and can battle even under absolute zero. On her legs are the "faces" named Goodnight Sisters. Attacks

Marsmon is named after Mars, the god of war from Roman mythology. He enjoys fighting to an extreme, to the point of using dirty tactics without hesitation during battles. Attacks

Merukimon is named after Mercurius (the Latin form of Mercury), the Roman messenger of the gods. He is not to be confused with Mercurymon, a Hybrid Digimon who is named after the metal mercury. Merukimon is one of the fastest Digimon, and is rarely seen since he is often rushing across the Digital World; in fact, most of his sightings were actually blurred hallucinations of him left after him. He wields a knife named Azteca. In Digimon Data Squad, he demonstrates the ability to launch energy blasts from his fist, and create waves of wind with a simple wave of his hand. Minervamon is named after Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom and war and bears the head of Medusa on her aegis. Minervamon is a humanoid Digimon wearing a set of snake-themed armor and is known as the "Snake Princess". She has superhuman strength and can easily handle with only one hand her claymore named Olympia, which almost reaches her own height. She always chops up the vanguard in war. She is also a boss in digimon world Dawn/Dusk Attacks

Neptunmon is named after Neptune, the Roman god of the seas. Neptunmon dwells in his underwater palace, the Abyss Sanctuary, which only those who can withstand the high water pressures can enter. He rules over all sea Digimon. As he wears the Scale Mail which is made of the speed-favorable Blue Digizoid, he can move even faster than MetalSeadramon under the sea. He wields the King's Bite, a trident that has its own will. Attacks
