Olmsted Point
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Olmsted Point, located in Yosemite National Park, is a viewing area like Glacier Point that offers an amazing view looking South-West into Yosemite. One is able to see the back side of Half Dome (where people climb the cables) and Tenaya Canyon. To the east you get an elevated view of Tenaya Lake. While not as popular as other viewing areas like Tunnel View & Glacier Point, Olmsted Point is worth the stop.
