This was pulled from the carriage return article:

olivetti is the only typewriter company to accomodate the full width of the letter M.

Does it have any truth/relevance to this article? -- nae'blis 02:24, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Management

I'm interested in the 'utopian' approach by Olivetti (which is discussed a little more in the Adriano Olivetti article). Lately I've been reading a book about John Cage, the composer (The Roaring Silence, David Revill), and Revill talked about one of Cage's views on employment. The Olivetti company was referenced, "...Cage pointed to developments at the time such as those at the Olivetti company in Italy. There, he claimed, industrial accidents had been wiped out; staff were trained how best to use their leisure time, and retired at the age of forty-five". I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on this claim and if so, perhaps we should include it in the article? RSieradzki 08:42, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removeal of computer info

Thanks for the recent cleanup. I don't understand why you removed the info on OMO and VNC, though. --Macrakis (talk) 14:15, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

I kind of liked the product list too. Jason Quinn (talk) 20:51, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
