[edit] Poll

Where did you get the poll? Bibliomaniac15 02:04, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Let me get this straight...

"Oliver would like to be a priest when he is older." As much of a ladies' man as he is? WAVY 10 02:25, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chest Hair?

What does that have to do with this article (or gym class...)? WAVY 10 18:07, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

When Miley pulls him up in Good Golly, Miss Dolly, and says "Ouch, you pulled out my only chest hair" and in Me and Rico Down By the School Yard Oliver says "I only have 1 chest hair and I need it for gym class" Megan :) 22:51, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Crush on Miley's mom?

Should I add Miley's mom as a crush, since it's kind of disputable. It's only seen in Miley's dream, and her mom isn't alive, but during the dream when her mom showed up, Oliver showed an interest in her mom. It's kind of confusing, but should it at least be noted? Abcw12 10:28, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

No. The dream was in Miley's head only so it shows nothing about how Oliver would really feel, just how Miley would think he would feel.--NrDg 13:28, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Well, someone added it already, so someone agrees that it should be mentioned at the least. Anyway, this is a minor issue, not something that requires a major debate. Abcw12 (talk) 00:23, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mike Standley the Third

The spelling of Oliver's alias has been in a bit of flux, mostly because of me. I got the spelling "Standley" from a posting in Mitchel Musso's blog on July 30. A blog entry on Aug 17 changed the spelling to "Stanley". I trust Mitchel to be a reliable source but it appears either he made a mistake or the writers changed the spelling, most likely the latter. I have updated the spelling and the cite to the latest that has a good reference. It also goes along with what I heard when listening to the episode. --NrDg 19:28, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Mitchel changed the spelling again see http://mitchels-blog.blogspot.com/2007/09/mike-standley-third.html. I'm beginning to wonder if even the writers on the show are being consistent or if Mitchel just can't read. --NrDg 03:38, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Early Obsession

What about his early obsession with Hannah Montanna? Should that be mentioned in his crushes? What about why he doesn't like Hannah anymore besides the fact that she's miley, what about the gum chewing?

[edit] Last name

I would just like to point out something real quick before I leave; Oken should be spelled Oaken. The instructional booklet for the first Hannah Montana Nintendo DS game clearly spells it as Oliver Oaken. I'm not sure if it should be changed. MiRAEiLLE 00:22, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hannah Montana S01E02.JPG

Image:Hannah Montana S01E02.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] image

the image on the page is unclear, and oliver looks very different now, i changed the image but someone reverted but can someone find a clearer andmore flattering image of the character?Harmless 77 (talk) 12:33, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I reverted the image mainly because the image description wasn't changed to match the new image and I didn't know what the description should be changed to. --NrDg 16:50, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
