Olivia Ryan is a fictional character from The Clique series.

She is described as having long, slightly curly "buttery blond" hair, "Tiffany box" navy eyes and a "ski slope" nose, which she obtained from many nose jobs. She is very pretty and "half of twenty" (meaning she is rated a full ten) along with Alicia Rivera (who completes the twenty). Olivia is said to be a different kind of pretty than Alicia. She has been called a beach babe for wearing a surfsuit to Massie's Halloween party.

Olivia Ryan is a very frequently recurring character in the Clique series. She acts as an alternative best friend to Alicia Rivera, meaning that she is Alicia’s friend, but is not a member of the Pretty Committee. Olivia wore knock off designer clothes and accessories in Revenge of the Wannabes, so Alicia calles her Faux-livia as a nickname. She is very dumb and naive, and wants to be friends with Massie Block and be in the Pretty Committee. Although they used to be friends, shows an unexplained hatred for her in the eighth book, but then are temorary friends in Bratfest at Tiffany's.
She is first mentioned in and first appears in Best Friends for Never but not explained in detail until Revenge of the Wannabes where she and Alicia attempt to start their own clique. In the end of Revenge of the Wannabes, Massie Block compromises with Alicia and allows her to keep Olivia as a friend, but will not let Olivia into the Pretty Committee. She plays a semi-major role in Bratfest at Tiffany's when she begins dating Cam Fisher, Claire Lyons's ex-boyfriend. She was later dumped by him when he realizes he had no real feelings for Olivia, and that he still had his feelings for Claire. Olivia has an older brother named Andy who shows Derrick Harrington, Cam Fisher, Chris Plovert, Josh Hotz, and Kemp Hurley his skate ramp over the summer. Olivia is currently friends with Strawberry and Kori. The three watch the boys skateboard at her house during the summer.

Lisi Harrison made it official that she will be writing a spin-off series of The Clique, starring Olivia Ryan. From what Lisi has announced, Olivia will transfer to a new school, where the Pretty Committee's "cattiness seems like kittiness". By this statement, it has been assumed that Olivia will take part in a large amount of intense drama. Whether or not she will be on the starting end or the receiving end of the drama has been undetermined. It is also undetermined whether or not The Alphas will have the same age-group target as The Clique series, or if it will be aimed towards an older audience, like the Gossip Girl series. Although, it is assumed The Clique fans will also be fans of The Alphas, despite what age-group it is aimed at.
