Oliver Peoples
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Oliver Peoples is a retailer and maker of eyewear begun by Larry and Dennis Leight in Los Angeles in 1987. Many early designs were retro-inspired. The brand gained mainstream popularity by the end of the 1980s, largely thanks to an article in the July 10, 1989 issue of Time magazine. [1] In February 2006, Oliver Peoples was acquired by Oakley, itself acquired by Luxottica in 2007. [2]
