The Olive-throated Parakeet (Aratinga nana) is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. It is found in Belize, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
The subspecies astec has been regarded as separate species Aztec Parakeet.
