[edit] License tagging for Image:ItsSoyDeliciousGreenTea.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:ItsSoyDeliciousGreenTea.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:08, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Turtle Mountain (company)

Thanks for the note! The tag was placed mostly to elicit some 3rd party sources that give reasons for this successful company to be included in wikipedia. (I did visit the site mentioned). If you read the tag; it will head you in the right direction. A great deal of the article is more an advertisement than anything else. The end of the article has probably received some good third party press that might add depth to the article. I think that the product lists should be seriously shortened to be examples of product types.

The above is my opinion, of course, but probably a fairly accurate reflection of general thinking. Keep editing and have fun. --Stormbay 22:44, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

  • I neglected to address the Tofutti article. It was nominated for deletion when it first appeared. If you check Talk:Tofutti and check the discussion of that process, you will see the reasoning at the time. Ultimately, each article needs to stand on its own anyway. Cheers! --Stormbay 23:01, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:SoDeliciousMinis.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:SoDeliciousMinis.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 19:59, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Turtle Mountain (company): RE: Flavors & moving from an article to a list

Hi Olephill2 - I just wanted to thank you for adding the flavors of So Delicious and the others! I see they were reverted though. The official Turtle Mountain (company) website doesn't even have a list that you can view all of them at once. You have to click on Products and click seven different categories which are viewed separately which is a pain.

Could you please create a list on it's own then? (Separate from the article and then link it). That's what happened to Ben & Jerry's flavors on August 17th. The Häagen-Dazs article still has all of it's flavors... I think that this is important information for the lactose-intolerant, vegans (such as myself), and some of those who are watching their cholesterol and needs to be here! Also here's the link for the Ben & Jerry edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ben_%26_Jerry%27s_flavors&diff=151712193&oldid=125284985 I would do it myself except that first of all you did the work and you deserve the credit. And second, I'm still learning and don't know how to do that as of yet. Thanks again! Angela C 13:12, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Please stop introducing jokes into articles, such as those you created at Neven Subotić. Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism.
