[edit] See [[link]] pages
Hello. You recently created a page of the form 'See [[link]]'; whilst this is useful, a redirect page is even more useful. You can create a redirect page by typing
#REDIRECT [[link target]]
as the only thing in the edit box. Redirects are more useful than See [[link]] pages because they automatically load up the target page when the original page is loaded, saving time; they are also easier to automatically monitor. Thank you! --ais523 14:24, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hello
Olenka, I noticed your contribution to Ukraine, specifically the section about famous Ukrainians. I think the topic is valuable, but may not be best located under that entry (for example, France, USA and others do not have the "famous x" sections. On the other hand, as I said, the topic deserves to be further developed on wikipedia. Take a look at the currently disputed List of Ukrainians and see how it can be improved. There is also the Ukrainians entry, which deals specifically with that nation. Best wishes in your contributions. And if you write/find new articles related to Ukraine, please announce them at Portal:Ukraine new article announcement board.--Riurik(discuss) 21:24, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
