Once again, welcome. Thanks for the note on my talk page. There's a lot to absorb on Wikipedia, but I suggest as a start, reading or skimming WP:ATT and WP:NPOV. One of the guiding principles of Wikipedia is simply stated as "be bold". So I recommend jumping right in on articles you have an interest in and expanding them. It's also helpful to read the talk pages of articles you are interested in to get a feel for their history.

The criticism section on the Siddha Yoga article is there because the guiding principle behind the neutrality guideline is to present all major viewpoints on any given subject. Notice, we don't require those viewpoints to be impartial. We simply document that there are differing viewpoints and let the reader determine for themselves, through further study, which are impartial and which aren't. In other words, we don't take sides.
