[edit] POV?
I respectfully object. I was basing "hero" on his award, not my opinion. Why is that POV? Ostap 06:20, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- Being a Hero of Ukraine is a fact. Being a "Ukrainian hero" is merely a judgment and does not belong to a lead. I was horrified to have read this story but still, I think we should write neutrally even about people who made a self-sacrifice for the cause they undertook, however noble one. Let's keep the epithets low and to the text body, while mere facts and summaries in the lead. --Irpen 06:31, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Gap in the bio
I think this needs to be addressed. 39 years of his life in the USSR (from 1939 to 1978). What was he doing? Where was he living? The only thing the article tells about this period is that he was imprisoned for three out of these 39 years and the years of imprisonment are omitted even. Facts matter. --Irpen 06:34, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
