[edit] Lady Rebels not mentioned
I added a section on the Lady Rebs basketball program, which is among the more famous in women's sports. I did my best but I feel certain a lot more could be said about it. And I note that there are no other women's sports mentioned on the page. This is a serious gap; I don't think this article can/should get out of B grade until it's fixed. --Mcubebrooklyn (talk) 22:32, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I had planned on putting something together for the women's teams but sooooooo many articles, soooooo little time. I would remind you however that the information needs to be sourced. Any statements of fact from where it says "The Ole Miss Lady Rebels basketball program began in 1974." to "..guard Armintie Price, joined the program for the 2003-4 season and immediately collected SEC Freshman of the Year honors." to "Price was named to the All-SEC First Team three times and became the first player to be named SEC Defensive Player of the Year twice." and all the other statements of fact - these need to be sourced. Otherwise, anyone can come along and remove the information. Other than that, very good job adding women's basketball! Now if you can do women's other sports as I notice there's nothing about the women's teams in volleyball, softball (there is a baseball section), tennis (it's there but not for women), soccer, etc. Also maybe something for the Rivals section? Surely the women have some heated rivalries as well? -- ALLSTARecho 23:16, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
