Olentangy Local School District
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Olentangy Local School District is a large, rapidly growing school district in Ohio. Most of the district is in Delaware County with a small, southern portion (one cul-de-sac) in Franklin County. The district serves all or part of numerous municipalities including Delaware, Columbus, Westerville, Powell, unincorporated Lewis Center Orange Township, Berkshire Township, Berlin Township, Concord Township, Genoa Township, Liberty Township, and Delaware Township. Several new schools have been planned, and will begin construction in several years to meet the rapidly rising population of southern Delaware County.
The Olentangy Local School District is located in the heart of Ohio in Delaware County. Olentangy is fifteen minutes from downtown Columbus, the state’s capital and twenty-five minutes from Port Columbus Airport. Olentangy offers high-end shopping at Polaris Fashion Place, numerous eighteen-hole golf courses, a 3,500-acre (14 km²) lake with boating, and a beach in Alum Creek State Park.
