Oleksandr Sascha Iakovenko (born July 23, 1987 in Kiev) is a Ukrainian football midfielder. He is currently on loan from K.R.C. Genk to R.S.C. Anderlecht[1]. He has also played for Lokomotiv Kiev, FC Metalist Kharkiv, and SK Lierse in the past. His name is sometimes transliterated as Alexander Yakovenko. In the January Transfer window for the 2007-2008 he was loaned out to Anderlecht and made immediate impact as constantly being a starter as well as scoring goals in leage and Uefa Cup matches.
