Oleh Mykolayovych Shelayev (Ukrainian: Олег Шелаєв, born November 5, 1976 in Luhansk, Soviet Union) is a professional Ukrainian football player for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. He currently a member of the Ukrainian national team. He played in several games in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Oleh Shelayev plays in a defensive midfield position and is the captain of his club team, FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
