[edit] Personal life
Velyky is married and has one son.[2] His career has been marred by severe health problems. In 2003, he was diagnosed with skin cancer, but managed to beat the illness, until the cancer returned in 2008.[3] Apart from this serious illness, he already ruptured his cruciate ligament twice in 2006 and 2008, and sprained his foot in 2007.
