Oleg (Russian and Ukrainian: Олег, Belarusianor: Алег) is a Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarusian given name. It may be transliterated as "Oleh" from Ukrainian and "Aleh" or "Aleg" from Belarusian. It derives from the Scandinavian Helge (holy, sacred or blessed).
