In almost 30 years in the power industry, I've been blessed to see/do/experience the best and worst of the natural and man-made much this world has to offer - working on answers to various power issues:

Wonderful, warm and friendly people despite the poverty, suffering, starvation, oppression & death. Of course, you can't get to these places without seeing many more that get no attention or notoriety - where the real people live and work.

It has been amazing to see the world's then-biggest power plant in one country one day and see near-century old electrical works in another country the next day. However, nothing stirs more awe and wonder than nature and all of the facets of its remarkable simplicity and complexity.
