Cleanup is seriously needed here. Parts of it read like a brochure.

[edit] Cleaned

Consider this article my friends, cleaned! (I recently finished a bottle of Bushmills 10 year - you have to!)

Reference in popular culture: In the HBO series 'The Wire' Season 3 Episode 7 the character Jim McNulty refers to the drink as a 'Protestant' Whisky.

[edit] 12 year malt...

I'm not really interested in getting into an edit-dispute over the 12-year-malt, but the last time I was at the distillery, it was available for sale there. My understanding is that it is always available at Bushmills, but nowhere else. So, the line about 150 bottles being made and sold in Germany is confusing to me. Anyway, I don't have any sources, just my own visits, but something to think about. Anyone been there recently? Cheers, PaddyM 14:54, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Fair enough. I was there several years ago and I could have sworn myself they had the 12 year old for sale there as an only get it at the distillery piece but I thought my memory was faulty. If you are also saying the same from a visit then we're likely as not not both at fault. I'll re-instate it then. Ben W Bell talk 15:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Now, if only all articles were so easy to correct ... sigh. PaddyM 15:27, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Indeed, it would be nice wouldn't it. Ben W Bell talk 15:29, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
