Oldham Central railway station

Oldham Central Railway Station was one of 5 stations in the town of Oldham. The station opened in 1847 and was closed in April 1966. The station formed a parallel interchange with Clegg Street railway station. The name of the station is to survive in the proposed Oldham Central Metrolink station, which will be located on Union Street.
