Oldenbüttel is the name of a railway station on the Cuxhaven to Bremen line, situated in the village of Oldenbüttel in the district of Osterholz in Lower Saxony, one of the states of Germany.
[edit] Operational usage
RegionalBahn trains from Bremerhaven to Bremen call at the station, offering an hourly connection to both cities, with some peak services during the early morning and afternoon hours. The station's Bremen-bound track is only accessible by crossing the Bremerhaven-bound track, therefore imposing restrictions on train schedules. It is not allowed for any train to pass the station within four minutes of the departure of a passenger train. The station is supposed to undergo renovation in preparation for the Bremen S-Bahn scheme.
