Old Style Pilsner is brewed by Molson Inc. at its Vancouver and Edmonton breweries. Created in the pilsner style, it has been brewed in western Canada since 1926 and is available only there. The beer appeared in the movie Fubar and also sponsors the Saskatchewan Roughriders football team, who play in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Old Style Pilsner was first brewed in 1926 by Fritz Sicks at the Sicks' Lethbridge Brewery. The beer was and still is brewed after the famous formula of the House of Lethbridge, which can be seen in the top left hand side of the label. The Sicks' Breweries Ltd. grew in the early half of the century to include breweries located throughout western Canada and the United States. In 1958 Sicks' Breweries Ltd. along with the Old Style Pilsner Brand was bought by Molson Inc.

The first beer consumed by many a young western Canadian boy, "Pil" has become famous for crossing lines of age, wealth and taste. All local demographics have been known to enjoy Pil, as well as share some quality time counting the bunnies on the label, or if you've had more than you can remember, talking to them. This beer is also referred to as "Saskatchewan Champagne" by its devotees.

It has also appeared on CTV's Corner Gas as the brew of choice at the local bar.

To many true and pure Pilsner consumers it is known affectionately as a "Sner", "Pill", "Vitamin P" or "Pilly Pop".
