Studio album by Smash Mouth |
Old Habits is the unreleased 6th studio album by alternative rock band Smash Mouth. The band performed what was presumably the first single from the album, "Getaway Car" in a September 2005 appearance on The Tonight Show.
The album was originally supposed to be released around summer 2005, but a greatest hits album was released instead. The band was reportedly unsatisfied with how the album sounded, and decided to scrap the album for the time being. Some Old Habits songs were remixed and included with new material for a new album called Summer Girl.
The car on the cover of the album is the same car that was used on the bands debut album Fush Yu Mang.
The band does plan to eventually release Old Habits sometime in the future, but as of early 2008, this had not yet materialized.
