Old Fort Harrod State Park

Old Fort Harrod State Park is a park located in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. It was named after James Harrod who lead an early party of settlers into Kentucky.[1] The park encompasses 15 acres, and features a reconstruction of Fort Harrod, the first permanent settlement in the state of Kentucky.

Old Fort Harrod State Park includes Pioneer Cemetery, the oldest cemetery west of the Allegheny Mountains.

Additional park attractions include a museum and the cabin where Abraham Lincoln's parents were married.[2]
