Old Dominion University Fieldhouse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Old Dominion University Fieldhouse was a 5,200 seat multi-purpose arena in Norfolk, Virginia. It opened in 1970. It was home to the Old Dominion University Monarchs and Lady Monarchs basketball teams. The venue also played host to the American Basketball Association's Virginia Squires for a short time. It was replaced when the Ted Constant Convocation Center opened in 2002.
The Fieldhouse is currently under major renovations to become a new athletics facility for the Old Dominion University Community. The new facility will include indoor tennis and swimming.
