[edit] Summary
Photo of ancient board game Senet, found in a painting from the tomb of Merknera. This photo provides the only proof that the mouth sign hieroglyph did exist in Old Egyptian language (see ref: Egyptian hieroglyph#Uniliteral signs). This photo apparently was taken before the ancient tomb was dismantled (but when?) and is publicly posted at http://www.hrejsi.cz/clanky/dama1.html. It is also referenced at Senet.
