Olchfa School

Olchfa School is the largest Comprehensive school in Swansea, South Wales, with approximately 1900 pupils. It provides secondary education for GCSEs and tertiary education leading to A-Level qualifications. The campus of the school is situated in Sketty Park to the far west of Sketty.

According to Estyn, the school has a current GCSE pass rate of 72% (based on 5 GCSEs, grades A-C); this means it is in joint 19th place in Wales, or in the top 10%. It is also the joint second best performing secondary school in Swansea, sharing its standing with Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr, behind top performing Bishopston Comprehensive School.

Noteworthy alumni include Russell T. Davies; the current Glamorgan cricket captain David Hemp; actress Georgia Henshaw; Principal of St. Hugh's College, Oxford Andrew Dilnot; and filmmaker Andrew Jones.
