Olang (Valdaora) (Italian: Valdaora; German: Olang; Archaic (985 AD): Olanga) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 100 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 60 km northeast of the city of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,878 and an area of 49.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Olang (Valdaora) contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Geiselsberg, Mitterolang, Niederolang, and Oberolang.
Olang (Valdaora) borders the following municipalities: Bruneck (Brunico), Mareo (it. Marebbe; de. Enneberg), Prags (Braies), Rasen-Antholz (Rasun Anterselva), and Welsberg-Taisten (Monguelfo-Tesido).
