Ola T. Heggem

Ola T. Heggem (born 13 May 1952 in Rindal) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.
He served in the position of deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Møre og Romsdal during the term 2001–2005. When the second cabinet Stoltenberg assumed office following the 2005 elections, Heggem was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
On the local level Heggem was a member of Rindal municipal council from 1987 to 2005, serving as mayor since 1991. From 2003 to 2005 he was also a member of Møre og Romsdal county council.
Outside of politics, he is a farmer.
