Ola Sundt Ravnestad

Ola Sundt Ravnestad (born May 31, 1961 in Gloppen, Norway) is a Norwegian businessperson, banker and entrepreneur. He was Chief Executive Officer of the bank alliance Terra-Gruppen, that he founded along with a number of savings banks in 1997. He also owns 14.5 % of Terra Markets and one of the central figures in the Terra Securities scandal. On November 28, 2007 he resigned as CEO of Terra-Gruppen due to the scandal and the subsequent bankruptcy of Terra Securities^{[citation needed]}.

Sundt Ravnestad is educated marine engineer, and siviløkonom from the Norwegian School of Management.
