{{OL|full|id=small|author=yes}}
Parameters:
- full - The typical ID in Open Library, usually in the form OLxxxxxxxx.
- small - Alternative way of identifying a book or author. It's equal to the full ID, minus the two starting OL characters. This results in a better looking link.
- author=yes - If added, the resulting link will point to authors database instead of the books one. Otherwise, the link is to the book catalog.
Examples:
- {{OL|OL7100655M}} = OL:OL7100655M
- {{OL|id=7100655M}} = OL7100655M
- {{OL|OL18319A|author=yes}} = OL:OL18319A
- {{OL|id=18319A|author=yes}} = OL18319A
The |id= parameter has precedence and its version will render if both it and the unnamed full parameter are present.
