[edit] Route description
State Highway 115 begins at an interchange with U.S. Highway 62 (a freeway at this point) near Cache. It goes north from here, through Fort Sill, to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. After entering the refuge, SH-115 is unsigned. It overlaps State Highway 49 in the refuge. It regains its signage after leaving the refuge.
After leaving the refuge, it passes through the town of Meers. It then passes through the middle of the Wichita Mountains. Through the mountains, its winding route keeps the speed limit at 55 miles per hour (88.5 km/h).[1] It runs through Saddle Mountain before having a one-mile (1.6 km) concurrency with State Highway 19. It then runs for another 14 miles (22.5 km) before having another 1-mile (1.6 km) concurrency with SH-9 into Mountain View. 12 miles (19.3 km) north of Mountain View, it passes through Cowden. Three miles (4.8 km) north of Cowden, it ends at SH-152.
[edit] Notes
- The SH-115/152 junction is named Cowden Junction.
