The Oklahoma Hospital Association (OHA) (the state affiliate of the American Hospital Association) was established in 1919 and represents the more than 150 hospitals and health care entities in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.
[edit] Objectives, services, and membership
OHA's primary objective is to improve the general welfare of the public by leading and assisting its members to provide better health care services for all people.
OHA provides a variety of membership services including legislative tracking and representation, communications, educational programs, health care industry information and data, and quality and risk management resources. OHA also partners with a number of other organizations on a variety of workforce shortage initiatives.
In addition to hospitals, other members include: health care systems, nursing homes, home health agencies, surgery centers, medical supply and other businesses which have an interest in health care.
