Oka Gorodovikov

Oka Gorodovikov (Russian: Ока Иванович Городовиков; 1 October [O.S. 19 September] 1879 in Mokraya Elmuta village, current Rostov Oblast – 26 February 1960 in Moscow) was a Soviet cavalry general of Kalmyk origin, a Hero of the Soviet Union. He took part in the World War I and the Great Patriotic War.
A town of Gorodovikovsk in his native Kalmykia was named after him in 1971.
