Ojamajo Doremi # (おジャ魔女どれみ# Ojamajo Doremi Shaapu?) is an anime that is part of the Ojamajo Doremi series. Ojamajo Doremi ♯ is a sequel to Ojamajo Doremi and is the beginning of the second story arc.

  • Onpu and Pop have more prominent roles in Ojamajo Doremi # than they did in the original series.
  • Flowers are an important theme to this series.
  • Transformations (Henshin) sequences are different and require tapping the body parts in a quick dance.
  • Several new characters are introduced, including Hana.
  • The Maho-do, which was a trinket shop in the first season, becomes a flower shop in Ojamajo Doremi #.
  • The regular witch outfit is slightly different from the first season.The series also features two new witch outfit for special occasions. One to discuss matters with the Queen of the Witch World, and another when Hana-chan is worn
  • The characters receive phones

In this series, Doremi and her friends help raise Hana-chan,a baby who was born after 100 years from a rose in the witch kingdom's royal garden and is the heir to the throne of Majokai - witch's land.

Hana-chan is often a target of kidnappers from the wizard's land (Oyaji and the Flat 4) because of her enormous underlying power. However, she is protected and raised by Doremi and her friends for one full year. In the end, the witches and wizards have reconciled, and Hana-chan is no longer in danger.

While the prolonged theme for the first series was music, Ojamajo Doremi # also incorporates flowers as a key theme.

  • The opening sequence features the girls in their transformed state riding their brooms to make a heart shape which then sprouts a flower.
  • Hana, the future Queen of the Witch World is born from a flower.
  • The girls work in their flower store.
  • The Ojamajo Doremi # Movie's plot is focused on the wish-granting flower that Pop finds.
  • The henshin device looks like a flower.
  • After transformations, flowers can be seen in the background.
  • Hana's name means "flower" in Japanese.
  • When they do a group transformation, one person is shown doing that part of the sequence, and then the other girls appear doing the same thing in flowers that float across the screen.
  • When the animation that shows the episode's title appears, the episode's title comes out of a flower.
  • After the girls say "Magical Stage", a rose appears.
  • Before the girls change into their Royal Patraine outfits, they are hidden in a flower bud bearing their respective color.
  • When the girls are doing their spells, flowers can be seen in the background.
