The Eddie Slovik says he's the only WW2 soldier in the US army to be executed, but this article says dozens were.

I think he was the only one executed for a purely military offence (ie desertion). The others were executed for "ordinary" offences like murder, rape etc ← Roger → Talk 22:42, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
