[edit] North end discrepancy

There are three noted north ends to SR 3. The signposted end, as noted in the article, is at US 42 in Parma, but in the ODOT straight-line diagrams, it follows US 42 to Cleveland's Public Square. However, even within the SLDs there is a discrepancy, because the SR 3 SLD shows it ending with US 42 at Superior Avenue and Public Square East (signposted as "East Roadway"), but the US 422 SLD shows 3 ending with US 422 (from a different direction) at Superior Avenue and Ontario Street. I'm going to leave it as the former, Superior @ E. Roadway, since (1) that's what 3's own diagram shows, (2) the 3 SLD is newer than the 422 one (January 2005 vs. January 2003), and (3) the most recent traffic survey report for Cuyahoga County (2003) agrees with 3's SLD.
