Talk:Ohio Central Railroad
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This morning, I started a stub article for the Ohio Central Railroad. My intent is to flesh it out as time permits in the coming days with several verifiable sources. (Visit [1] for one of these sources.) The Ohio Central railroad is a Class III railroad in Ohio whose importance has been growing as it has been purchasing or leasing lines cast off by Class I railroads. I was surprised to see that it did not have an article on Wikipedia, even though many other short-line railroads in Ohio have their own articles. Given that the Ohio Central is a growing system and operates trains on the old Panhandle Route (itself formerly an important section of the Pennsylvania Railroad), I would request that this article be reinstated and allowed to be edited. --Captadam 14:55, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. We have other articles on Class III railroads (i.e. short lines), and I don't see any cause to label this article as spam or a non-notable corporation. I restored the article, so feel free to expand it. In particular, an appropriate infobox ({{Infobox SG rail}} should be added to this article, as I've done at Progressive Rail. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 15:41, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks! The article certainly needs work, but that will be coming shortly. --Captadam 15:42, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
