State Route 99 is a north-south state highway in the north-central portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 224 in Willard, and its northern terminus is at State Route 4 about 7 miles south of Sandusky.

  • 1924 – Original route established[2]; originally routed from its current southern terminus to Monroeville[3].
  • 1938 – Extended to 4 miles west of Sandusky along previously unnumbered roads[3].
  • 1967 – Truncated at State Route 101; from State Route 101 to 4 miles west of Sandusky decertified[3].
  • 1971 – Truncated at State Route 4; from State Route 4 to State Route 101 decertified[3].
