State Route 503 is a State Route that starts from the south at US 127 in Seven Hills and ends in the North at State Route 121 in Darke County. Route 503 is an alternate route for those who are going between Cincinnati and Greenville instead of U.S. Route 127. The land along the highway is very flat at the beginning near Wayne Lakes and by the end near Seven Mile there are very high hills, especially near its junction with Ohio Route 73. State Route 503 is also very curvy, especially in Southern Preble County.
