  • 1933 – Original route certified. Originally routed from 2 miles south of Wharton to Wharton.[2]
  • 1998 - Extended to 1 mile south of Kirby along route 30 from 2 miles south of Wharton to 1 mile north of Kirby and previous route 699 from 1 mile north of Kirby to 1 mile south of Kirby.[2]
